However, this problem may soon be a thing of the past, as well-known application expert Jane Manchun Wong tweeted that the version of the popular Facebook Android app is currently testing its upcoming “dark mode”, according to Android Police.
Trick? Currently, the test is only available to selected users in certain countries - neither Facebook nor Wong indicated which regions have access, although based on TechRadar testing at the time of this writing, there was no USA or Australia.
According to Wong, users with access to the new dark Messenger mode can find a switch for settings in the “Me” section of the application.
Of course, since the new mode is only at the testing stage, it is still far from complete. The dark mode test was carried out after a recent minimalist user interface transformation, as a result of which Messenger has reduced the number of tabs and improved some of its more complex design aspects.
It is not clear when the Dark Messenger mode will be released in a larger area, but we will keep you posted when this happens.
